Sampdoria are on the verge of completing their fifth summer signing in Spezia left-back Tommaso Augello.

He will then sign a contract until 2023 or 2024, with the Blucerchiati paying €3-4m for a permanent deal.
The 24-year-old broke through for Spezia last season, scoring once and providing five assists in 34 games as the Aquilotti qualified for the Serie B playoffs.
