Despite a new round of talks, Leeds United have no intention of raising their offer for Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie.

Jesse Marsch’s side are currently leading the race to sign the 24-year-old American and seem only a step away from securing his signature. McKennie has already spoken to head coach Marsch and is happy to join Leeds, but is still open to offers from bigger Premier League clubs.

As reported by journalist Giovanni Albanese, Leeds held a new round of talks with Juventus today to try and iron out an agreement, but no progress was made after the English side made it clear that they wouldn’t raise their €28m offer.

The Old Lady are hoping to pick up around €35m for the American and so will wait to see if other offers arrive before this month’s transfer window closes.

McKennie, who is contracted to Juventus until 2025, has scored three goals and provided two assists across 21 appearances this season.
