Leeds United reportedly expect Wilfried Gnonto to join Premier League side West Ham United in the January transfer window.

European Transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri claims Leeds expect to sell Gnonto to West Ham in the January transfer window and are planning to replace the Italy international with Manuel Benson of Burnley FC.

Gnonto reportedly pushed to leave Leeds last summer following relegation to the English Championship.

The 20-year-old Italian striker, a product of Inter‘s Academy, has one goal and one assist in 23 appearances across all competitions this season. His contract with Leeds United runs out in June 2027.

Gnonto made his senior Italy debut under Roberto Mancini in 2022 and has one goal and two assists with the Azzurri in 13 international appearances.

Two of his 13 appearances came under Luciano Spalletti, but Gnonto was not involved in the last four Italy games. First due to an ankle injury and then because he was called up to Italy U21 instead.
