Leeds United have scheduled the usual pre-transfer medicals for midfielder Weston McKennie, who is arriving on loan from Juventus.

The Premier League side have agreed to pick up the 24-year-old on a €1.5m loan deal with a €40m conditional obligation to buy clause attached, linked to certain sporting objectives. McKennie is keen on the move, where he’ll find compatriots Jesse Marsch, Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson.

As highlighted by Gianluca Di Marzio, McKennie will leave Italy for England later today and will undergo his medical tests with Leeds on Monday. Should everything go to plan, the Juventus midfielder will put pen to paper on his six-month loan deal with the Premier League outfit.

McKennie joined Juventus from Schalke 04 in September 2020 on a €4.5m loan deal, making the move permanent a year later for €20.5m. During his time in Turin, the American midfielder made 96 appearances across all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing five assists.
