Verona and Genoa want to sign Frederik Sorensen from Juventus after his move to Leeds United collapsed.

Leeds chief Massimo Cellino had already secured a deal with Juve to take the Danish centre-back on loan for £400,000 and an option to buy for £3m at the end of the season.

However, two days of negotiations with Sorensen’s agent saw a failure to agree personal terms and the transfer collapsed.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Hellas Verona are now the favourites to take on Sorensen in a similar deal.

Genoa are also thought to be interested in the ex-Bologna defender.
