Leeds emerge to compete with Milan for Sassuolo’s Traore

Leeds United have come forward to Sassuolo talent Hamed Junior Traore, giving Milan some tough competition.

The Rossoneri have been interested in making a move for the 22-year-old Ivorian midfielder for a while now, switching their focus after seemingly losing out on Renato Sanches to French giants Paris Saint-Germain.

As reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds United have requested information from Sassuolo about Traore, interested in making a move for the 22-year-old. He’s a versatile player who can play a variety of roles in the midfield, from trequartista to a more defensively-minded role.

Sassuolo value Traore at around €25m and things could heat up soon as clubs prepare for their pre-season training camps.

The 22-year-old Ivorian midfielder scored eight goals and provided four assists in 32 appearances across all competitions this season.

Leeds are preparing to lose talented winger Raphina to a Premier League giant like Chelsea and Traore could be the perfect replacement.
