Lazio striker Vedat Muriqi could be heading for the Premier League with interest from Leeds United and Hull City.
The centre-forward cost €20m to sign from Fenerbahce in September 2020, but has made very little impact in the Biancocelesti jersey.
The Kosovo international made just 48 competitive appearances for the club, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
He has more yellow cards – three – than goals for the Aquile, and Maurizio Sarri has been using Pedro or Felipe Anderson as a False 9 rather than Muriqi when Ciro Immobile is unavailable.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Hull City had made an approach for Muriqi, but have now moved on to other targets.
There is firm interest from Premier League strugglers Leeds United, who scored only 21 goals this season and sit in 16th place.
The problem is that Lazio need to sell before they can bring in a replacement and Leeds seem inclined only to take Muriqi on loan.

Calling him a ‘striker’ is like me calling a tractor a sports car. Difficult to a more woeful footballer than him to have ever played in Serie A.
Why would any Premiere league team be sniffing for him? He is slow for Serie A. He would lieterally not be able to run past ANY players in England!

The return on the 20m? One serie a goal. I can’t even recall who he scored against. I genuinely didn’t even know he scored 1 goal. He has become like the doumbia of lazio.

@rosario : I only know he scored against atalanta in the coppa italia (just like in this picture) , but garbage like him still makes me amaze how can deceive ppl like tare that he is worth that much. and it tells u what calibre is tare at judging player ability. btw doumbia is way better than this crap,he has speed and scored alot in russian league,not like muriqi who only scored a handful in turkish league and then he make fools like tare spend 20 mil
I highly doubt Lazio will be able to SELL this player… offloading wage should be first step
