The 31-year-old midfielder’s current deal in the capital expires in 2015, but the player’s representative has insisted that he wants to end his career at Stadio Olimpico.
“Right now there hasn’t been any further talks,” Vincenzo D’Ippolito told Corriere dello Sport.
“But I can tell you that Cristian is in love with Lazio and with the city of Rome.
“Our intention is to stay here and continue with Lazio, but we’ll have to wait and see if the club agrees.”
Ledesma has played 23 times in the League this term, assisting four goals.
