This weekend’s Serie A matches include some key fixtures and these Lecce vs. Torino predictions focus on two sides either side of the mid-table mark. Lecce have enjoyed a strong overall start to the season but Torino are in a poor run of form.

Lecce vs. Torino odds

1 – A draw – 2/1

2 – Lecce under 2.5 total goals – 1/14

3 – Total goals scored under 2.5 – 11/20

4 – Both teams not to score – 5/6

5 – A 0-0 draw – 13/2

This clash is unlikely to feature high on the list of must-watch games on the Serie A schedule this weekend. Neither side is enjoying their best campaign but Torino are one of the most out-of-form teams in Serie A based on their return of two points from their last five league matches.

Torino have won just twice in Serie A this season and they are without a victory since mid-September as part of a dismal run of results. Lecce are doing slightly better. But they have developed a reputation for drawing matches in recent weeks, with two draws and two defeats in their last four league outings.

This game looks certain to be a low-key scrap and a point would actually represent a positive for Torino compared to their ongoing form either side of the international break.

Unsurprisingly, goals have been an issue for Torino, with Ivan Juric’s team scoring just once in their last five league matches. Lecce have not fared much better, despite finding themselves currently in the top half of the table, only managing to find the back of the net twice in their last four league games.

All the signs point to this game being a real grind this weekend, as Lecce’s early season promise continues to dip and Torino’s own poor streak shows little sign of being turned around. A goalless draw is always difficult to predict, but with two sides short on confidence and goal-scoring intent, it could be a full-on stalemate at the Stadio Via del Mare.
