The Rossoneri need to get back to winning ways on Saturday and these Lecce vs. Milan predictions suggest that the Scudetto holders will be successful. But the home side remain unbeaten since the return to Serie A action.

Lecce vs. Milan odds

1 – Milan to win – 8/15

2 – Over 2.5 goals scored – 1/1

3 – Both teams to score – 1/1

4 – Milan to win 2-1  – 15/2

5 – Rafael Leão to score at any time – 11/5

Milan had looked in full control on Monday as their game with Roma entered the last quarter of an hour. But the Giallorossi performed a late comeback to claim a point in the San Siro and leave Stefan Pioli’s side seven points adrift of Napoli. With the top two going against each other on Friday, this is a perfect opportunity for Milan to close the gap.

But Lecce will be no pushover. Tipped by many as the start of the season to return back to Serie B swiftly, the Salentini now hold a very creditable mid-table spot and are unbeaten in their last five games. A goalless draw away at Spezia continued that streak at the weekend.

But beating the reigning champions on Sunday will be a tough task. Milan will surely look to get back on track and Rafael Leão could be the difference if his contract negotiations are going well. A bet on him to score at any time could be profitable.

Although Lecce were unable to break through the Spezia defence, this is a side that have beaten both Atalanta and Lazio recently – so it would not be a complete surprise for the home side to find the net, at least, on Sunday.

This could be a very entertaining game for the neutral, as both teams like to play good football and Milan will feel the need to go for all three points. That aim should be achieved in the end – but Lecce will fight all the way.

Lecce team news

Lecce boss Marco Baroni has his captain, Morten Hjulmand, back from suspension for the visit of the reigning champions but will still be missing Kastriot Dermaku and Marin Pongračić. He will need to choose between Federico Di Francesco and Lameck Banda but should opt for Lorenzo Colombo up front against his parent club.

Milan team news

Stefano Pioli still has a mountain of injuries to deal with but can still field a fairly decent starting eleven against Lecce on Saturday. He will be hoping that Rafael Leão’s mind is on the game and may have to decide if Tommaso Pobega has earned a start after his goal against Roma.
