In a video posted on YouTube by the newly opened Kick Game store in Milan, Rafael Leao joked that the competition in Serie A is too easy for him, but also that he doesn’t like the weather in London.

Leao briefly spoke about his experience in Serie A in a promotional video at the luxury sneaker and streetwear outlet in the Capital of Lombardy.

The Portuguese striker has scored 36 goals in 147 appearances with the Rossoneri and was named Best Player Of The Season in 2021-22 in Milan’s first title victory in over a decade.

So, is Serie A too easy for him?

“Looks like, yes,” he chuckled.

“I’m in Serie A and before I was in France, the first year was difficult. They come like hard. But then with some skills…when you are faster you can create, and make a difference. The second year was much better and then I grew more and more.”

He continued: “I have to show the world what I can do on and off the pitch.”

The interview covered a range of topics, both on and off the pitch, including Milan’s most recent 1-0 victory over Tottenham in the Champions League Round of 16 at San Siro.

The Rossoneri will play the second leg in London on March 8, but Leao has recently visited the English capital. “I didn’t like the weather,” he said smiling. “It was my first time in London, I went shopping,”

For now, Leao’s focus is on Milan and the city itself is one that the Portuguese international seems to enjoy.

“My favourite things about the city? The Duomo, shopping, clubs, food.”
