Rafael Leao, Youssouf Fofana and Tammy Abraham celebrated Milan’s 2-1 win over Inter by covering a Nerazzurri corner flag with a Rossoneri shirt.

Milan secured a 2-1 win over city rivals Inter on Sunday night, ending a six-game losing streak against the defending Serie A champions.

A late Matteo Gabbia goal helped the Rossoneri secure an unexpected victory, mainly because the Diavoli had earned just one win in the previous five games across all competitions, and their coach, Paulo Fonseca, was on the brink of sacking.

It was a home fixture for the Nerazzurri, so most fans were Inter’s. Corner kick flags also had the home club crest, but Leao, Fofana and Abraham covered it after the final whistle, putting a Milan shirt on top.

DAZN released the video on Instagram.

Milan fans were delighted with their victory and continued celebrating in many different ways on and off the pitch.

  1. Actually it was a response to what thuram when covering up the milan corner flag with the Inda shirt.
BTW. Did Thuram even have a meaningful touch all game?
what about the self proclaimed ‘best midfielder in the world’ in the build up to Milan‘s first goal? Did he have a touch in Milan’s half until being subbed off? 😩

  2. Wow 1 win in 7 and reacting as if they won the title. We all know it was luck and even Everton win once in a blue moon. 2 stars and sure they will get the 3rd whilst they will be stuck on 1. Next 12 derbies go to Inter.
