Milan are expecting striker Rafael Leao to arrive from Lille by Monday and reportedly remain hopeful of landing Atletico Madrid’s Angel Correa too.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, a deal for €35m plus defender Tiago Djalo is done and Leao should be in Milan either today or tomorrow to complete his transfer.

The 20-year-old will fill the void about to be left by Patrick Cutrone, who is currently in advanced negotiations with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

However, Calciomercato.com maintains the Rossoneri still hope to bring in Correa.

A transfer looked to have already been agreed for an initial €40m, but the website explains the hold-up is due to bonuses.

That is because whereas the Diavolo are prepared to reach €48m, some of the bonuses they are proposing are not considered easy to activate.

Nonetheless, the Argentine’s agent Agustin Jimenez would be waiting for the call that takes his client to San Siro.

The forward scored during his side’s 7-3 thumping of city rivals Real Madrid in the International Champions Cup on Saturday.
