Roma are in the process of negotiating a deal with Stade Rennais for talented midfielder Enzo Le Fee, French reports detail.

The Giallorossi have locked down coach Daniele De Rossi to a three-year contract and are now in the process of building a project in the capital, with new sporting director Florent Ghisolfi working hard to ship out the unneeded players in the squad.

Roma are working to sell Rick Karsdorp, Chris Smalling, Zeki Celik, Edoardo Bove, Nicola Zalewski and Houssem Aouar. Andrea Belotti has already been sent to Como in a deal worth around €4.5m and further updates are expected in the coming weeks.

Le Parisien details how Roma are in the thick of negotiations with Rennes for Le Fee, who has impressed this season in Ligue 1, looking a strong fit for De Rossi’s squad. He has already agreed personal terms and is now waiting for the two clubs to find common ground.

This season, the 24-year-old Frenchman provided five assists across 35 matches, looking a talented and tactically flexible midfielder.
