Lazio outcast Ravel Morrison is close to joining Swedish side Ostersunds FK.
Morrison is firmly on the periphery at Lazio, where he has not played since April 2016, and Ostersund technical director David Webb confirmed the 26-year-old was training with the Allsvenskan club.
“We’ve had contact for a long time and he is close to a move,” Webb told their official website.
“Ravel wants to get acquainted with the team and then we’ll see how it goes. He has not signed yet but we hope that we can get him to our club.

“We believe that a man should not be judged for what has been. We are an open club and everyone is welcome to us.
“We have experience of players with similar problems and have good experience of taking care of them.”
The attacking midfielder was seen as one of Manchester United’s most promising players, along with Paul Pogba, but his career has stalled after a series of off-field problems.
Ostersund, for their part, were promoted to the Swedish top flight for the first time in 2016 and reached last season’s Europa League round of 32.
