It’s reported Lazio’s negotiations with Galatasaray for Burak Yilmaz have sensationally collapsed when a deal seemed imminent.
While SportItalia and Sport Mediaset both claimed agreements were reached between the clubs and with the player, albeit without the €2m fee requested by his agent, there was a sudden turnaround.
Colombian striker Brayan Perea’s contract was registered on the official Lega Serie A site, which takes up a non-EU place in the Lazio squad.
The only way to still bring in Yilmaz would be to sent Perea to a different club on loan.
Galatasaray counsellor Sukru Ergun also told Eurosport.tr that the club would not accept any deal for less than €18m, whereas the offer from Lazio remained firm at €15m.
