Other big clubs in Europe such as Juventus, Manchester United and Real Madrid had reportedly chased the 23-year-old.

Lazio's director of sport Igli Tare is a long-time admirer of the Turkey midfielder who remains a target of the Serie A side for the future.

Yazici scored a hat-trick against Milan in Europa League earlier this month in the only game lost by the Rossoneri so far this season.
