Corriere dello Sport has reported that the goalkeeper is close to an agreement, but a deal for Lulic remains distant with Bundesliga clubs lurking.

Italy international Marchetti's current deal expires next summer and he is believed to have been offered a two-year extension with the option of a third.

It is believed that the question of bonuses has provided the most difficulty in negotiations, but that Marchetti wants to stay with the Roman outfit.

Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen have both been linked with Lulic, who currently has a contract with the Biancoceleste running until 2017.

The Bosnian, who rejected a new deal at the end of 2014, is reportedly still some way off agreeing terms with the club as there remains a significant distance between his demands and what the club are offering.
