According to the latest reports from Italy, Lazio director Igli Tare has decided to extend the ultimatum by another 24 hours, so Silva has until tomorrow to give his response.
Meanwhile, Il Messaggero claim that the Aquile have been approached by City defender Otamendi, who had been on the verge of a move to Valencia.
That was abandoned, as the club is going through serious financial problems, so the 32-year-old is seeking a different destination.
However, while Silva is a free agent, Otamendi is under contract with Manchester City until June 2022.
