Lazio have announced they have a new main shirt sponsor, signing a three-year contract worth over €30m with Binance.

The Biancocelesti have largely been without a consistent main sponsor for many years, usually having deals for one season with various companies, but not with any regularity since Parmalat.

This agreement with crypto exchange company Binance is for two years with an option for a third and the official statement claims it is worth over €30m, including variable bonuses.

It will include a Lazio Fan Token, with 40 million going on sale for a total $4m.

These allow supporters to engage with the club, participate in polls and buy NFTs, as well as potential signed merchandise or phone calls with members of the team.

The new jersey will make its debut against Inter in Serie A this weekend.

Curiously, Inter are also sponsored by a crypto currency and blockchain company, a growing trend in Italy, particularly after betting sponsors were banned.

  1. Jon you should look into the crypto technology and learn about blockchain. It`s here to stay and will revolutionize our lives, just like the Internet did back in the early 2000s!

Congrats to Lazio for signing such a prestigious deal.
