Lazio coach Igor Tudor is expected to attend a meeting with senior officials from the club by Tuesday morning following the conclusion of the 2023-24 Serie A season, which saw the Biancocelesti finish in seventh place.

Tudor’s time with Lazio thus far

Tudor was called in to replace Maurizio Sarri with just over two months of the season remaining. His predecessor handed in his resignation in March after a run of four defeats, which included a round of 16 exit to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

The coach signed a one-and-a-half-year deal at the time, with a club option for a further year, which means he is currently tied to the club until the summer of 2025.

Since his appointment at the Stadio Olimpico, Tudor has overseen 11 competitive matches, posting a respectable record of six wins, three draws and two losses. He and his team did enough to qualify for the 2024-25 edition of the Europa League.

According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio on Monday evening, the 46-year-old is expected to be in Rome by Monday night, and is expected to have a meeting with club officials by Tuesday morning at the latest.
