Lazio are reportedly on the cusp of completing their first major pieces of business in the summer transfer window, closing in on deals for Milos Kerkez and Marcos Leonardo.

The Biancocelesti are looking to add four or five new players to Maurizio Sarri’s squad this summer following their qualification to the Champions League, hoping the new reinforcements will allow the team to compete on multiple fronts.

Lazio have a number of clear targets for this transfer window, including a backup striker and a left back capable of competing for a starting spot.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Lazio have agreed personal terms with Kerkez and are now working on finding an agreement with AZ Alkmaar.

A deal is expected to be agreed soon on the basis of around €15 million including add-ons. Things are progressing well and the 19-year-old could arrive in Rome in the coming weeks.

Lazio are also closing in on a deal for Marcos Leonardo, having already agreed to the terms of a deal with the Brazilian talent.

An agreement with Santos is expected to be reached soon, worth around €12 million plus a 20-30% future resale clause, with a release clause of €40m included in his contract.
