Lazio and Frosinone target Lucas Perez is reportedly on the verge of joining West Ham United instead.

The Spanish forward has been heavily linked with a move to the Biancocelesti of late, with his current club Arsenal said to have set an asking price of £7m for his services.

Newly promoted Serie A club Frosinone are also interested, but Sky Sports News say the Gunners have now reached an agreement to sell the 29-year-old to their London rivals.

Perez spent the second half of last season on loan at former club Deportivo La Coruna but could not prevent them being relegated from Spain’s top-flight.

And he remains surplus to requirements at Arsenal, despite Unai Emery taking over from Arsene Wenger as boss during the summer.
