The Brazilian midfielder touched down at Fiumicino at 1pm local time following a flight from France. He was met at the capital airport by Lazio team official Maurizio Manzini.
The 26-year-old is available on a free transfer given that his contract at Lyon expires at the end of this month.
The South American joined Lyon from Nice in 2008. He’s also played for Internacional and Juventude in his career.
