Joaquin Correa has arrived in Milan to begin his Inter medical, trying to sprint through a transfer from Lazio so he can make his debut this weekend.

Tucu’s private plane landed in Milan this afternoon and he greeted reporters at the airport.

The Argentina international then immediately travelled to have the first part of his medical with the FIGC.

Once he completes the tests with Inter, then he can sign the contract and make the transfer, potentially by tonight.

A deal was finally struck between the clubs for a loan with obligation to buy, spreading the €31m cost over several instalments.

He had also been linked with Everton, but had his heart firmly set on following ex-Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi to San Siro.
