Seven Lazio players fell ill with flu symptoms this week but things are starting to look more positive ahead of Sunday’s match against Milan.

Thomas Strakosha, Marius Adamonis, Adam Marusic, Stefan Radu, Danilo Cataldi, Raul Moro, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Luiz Felipe all began suffering from flu-like symptoms this week including a fever and gastrointestinal issues, forcing them to miss multiple training sessions in Formello.

As reported by TuttoMercatoWeb, things are starting to look more positive for Lazio as four of the players have been cleared of the flu and started training in the gym. These players are Milinkovic-Savic, Marusic, Strakosha and Cataldi.

Reina, Radu and Adamonis are all still unavailable due to the symptoms, and Patric and Pedro are sidelined due to muscle problems.

Maurizio Sarri will be anxious leading up to this Sunday’s clash against Milan, hoping that his squad are in the best possible condition for such an electric encounter. The Rossoneri cannot afford to drop points as they continue to duke it out with Inter and Napoli in the title race.
