Lazio have officially sold Vedat Muriqi to Real Mallorca for a reported €9.5m, while they hope Sevilla will raise their offer for Luis Alberto.

The Aquile have struggled once again this season to get players off their roster and raise funds for new signings.

Muriqi had been something of a millstone around their necks ever since his €20m purchase from Fenerbahce in September 2020.

He managed only two goals in 49 competitive games for Lazio, along with two assists.

The Albania international centre-forward regained some form on loan at Real Mallorca and has now made the move permanent for a reported fee of €9.5m.

Meanwhile, Tuttomercatoweb claim that Lazio hope Sevilla will raise their proposal to €25m in order to sign midfielder Luis Alberto.

The previous bids have fallen short of that asking price, with Lazio owing 30 per cent of the sell-on fee to Liverpool.

It is hoped that with Jules Kounde finally on the verge of joining Chelsea for €60m, it can provide Sevilla with the cash required to get Luis Alberto.
