Lazio have sold German midfielder Moritz Leitner to F.C. Augsburg, after just two appearances.
The 24-year-old joined the Biancocelesti from Borussia Dortmund in the summer, but managed a total of 13 minutes in Serie A.
“S.S Lazio announces that the player Moritz Leitner has been sold outright to F.C. Augsburg,” a brief statement from the Aquile announced.
Leitner was considered a very promising player, and has been capped 24 times by the German Under-21 side.
