Lazio have reportedly agreed to sell defender Bastos to Al-Ain for €800,000, although he’ll save the club approximately double that in wages.
The 29-year-old Angola international had been close to several moves over the summer, but remained on the Aquile books.
According to Tuttomercatoweb and Sky Sport Italia, a deal has been done with Al-Ain to sell Bastos for €0.8m.
It is a nominal fee, but his sale allows Lazio to save approximately €2m gross on what would’ve been the remainder of his contract.
