After problems for Djibril Sow, Lazio also risk losing another transfer target, as Fulham are said to be in advanced talks with Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The Biancocelesti have been rather slow to get going on the market this summer, despite needing reinforcements to compete in the Champions League.

There are reports that after edging closer to a €15m deal for Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Sow, the player is instead tempted by Sevilla.

Sky Sport Italia suggest he will speak with coach Maurizio Sarri this evening before making a decision.

Meanwhile, Hudson-Odoi is another player linked with Lazio, but Sky Sports UK insist he is now in advanced negotiations for a switch to Fulham instead.

The 22-year-old left-sided winger is only under contract with Chelsea until the end of the current campaign after a one-season loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen.

He has three senior caps for England and is reportedly a target primarily for ex-Chelsea coach Sarri, but Lazio hierarchy are less convinced by the idea of signing Hudson-Odoi.
