Lazio have confirmed Joaquin Correa’s move to Inter on an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy.
The Argentinean striker has joined the Nerazzurri on a temporary deal, but Inter must make his move permanent at the end of the season.
Lazio have revealed the official figures of the deal in an official statement published for the stock exchange.
“Lazio announce to have loaned Joaquin Correa to Inter on a temporary €5m deal + VAT, which can be paid in three instalments, in addition to a variable €1m related to sports results, payable in one year,” the club’s official announcement read.
“Internazionale S.p.A. will have an obligation to make the transfer permanent on the occurrence of the suspensive condition, by paying €25m + VAT payable in three years.”
Correa arrived at Inter’s training ground this morning and is expected to be available for tomorrow’s Serie A clash against Hellas Verona.
The 27-year-old scored 30 goals in 117 appearances with Lazio during his three-year spell at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Argentinean played every Lazio game under Simone Inzaghi with whom he reunites at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. The Serie A champions have yet to announce Correa’s signing.
