According to reports in Italy, Lazio could sell Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in the January transfer window as his relationship with Maurizio Sarri has deteriorated.

The 26-year-old has played a key role for the Biancocelesti this season, scoring five goals and delivering just as many assists in 17 Serie A appearances.

However, he was one of the players who left Lazio’s Christmas party before Claudio Lotito’s speech last week and for this reason, he was fined by the club.

According to Il Messaggero, Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri considers the Serbian midfielder ‘arrogant.’

At the same time, Tuttomercatoweb reports that the relationship between the boss and the midfielder is deteriorating. Therefore, the Biancocelesti could sell their star for a big-money offer in January.

Lotito told Il Messaggero that he rejected a €140m bid for Milinkovic Savic in the past. “I had promised Inzaghi he would have stayed,” the Lazio patron said. “I don’t care about the money, I want respect and maximum commitment.”

Lotito has also confirmed that Maurizio Sarri’s contract extension until 2025 is a done deal.

Tuttomercatoweb reports that Milinkovid-Savic is now valued at €80m with Juventus, Real Madrid and Manchester United interested in securing his services.
