Lazio are reportedly closing on Salernitana striker Boulaye Dia, while Parma make a strong offer for Matteo Cancellieri.
The Aquile are still working on revamping their attack following the departure of Ciro Immobile and Felipe Anderson.
According to Sportitalia and Sky Sport Italia, their latest target is Salernitana centre-forward Dia at a cost of €10m.
He was left in the stands for the last few months of the season due to a poor attitude, as he was unhappy at being blocked from a transfer deadline day move to Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 2023.
Following Salernitana’s relegation to Serie B and the fact his contract only runs to June 2026, Dia’s price-tag has dropped considerably.
The club paid €15.4m to sign him from Villarreal and he scored 20 goals in 50 Serie A appearances.
Lazio look at Dia, prepare Cancellieri exit
In other news, Parma have reportedly made a firm offer for Lazio winger Cancellieri, who just returned from a season on loan at Empoli.
The proposal is a loan with option to buy at the end of the season, but unlike Monza and Como, they would pay his full salary.
This is still not entirely satisfactory, as they would prefer to have some conditions for an obligation to buy.
