While a deal with Manchester United may be feasible, negotiations are still underway with the player.
The 31-year-old, whose contract with the Red Devils expires in summer of 2016, is asking for a salary of €5m a year, while Lotito is willing to offer €4m spread over four seasons, plus bonuses.
