The Spaniards are powerless to stop the 27-year-old from leaving after their failure to win promotion back to La Liga.

The newspaper agrees with Italian reports that Lazio will sign the left-sider this summer and that all they need to decide is whether he arrives on loan or on a permanent basis.

However, they risk losing Jony next year if he impresses, while Marca notes he would cost just €2m to sign now.

The ex-Barcelona youth player scored four goals and provided 11 assists during a loan spell at Alaves last season.
