Lazio’s Portuguese pair Pedro Neto and Bruno Jordao are set to return to their homeland in a €20m package deal to Benfica.

According to the Portuguese newspaper A Bola, the Biancocelesti will receive a fee of around €20m for the two youngsters, who they signed in 2017 from Sporting Braga for €18.5m plus bonuses.

Benfica will reportedly offer both players five-year contracts with a €100m release clause, while the two midfielders are said to have come back from their vacation in Spain and will conduct their medicals in the coming days.

Neto, a 19-year-old right-winger, only made five appearances for Le Aquile this season, all from the bench.

Meanwhile, 20-year-old central midfielder Jordao was substituted in on three occasions.

The original €18.5m plus bonuses move raised quite a few eyebrows at the time, as both are represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes.
