Lazio are closely following the situation surrounding talented Lyon winger and recent Olympian Rayan Cherki, who has been widely tipped with a move away from Ligue 1 this summer.

Lazio still interested in Lyon’s Cherki

According to reports from Corriere dello Sport and TMW, Lazio have around €15m to spend on a new forward, and Cherki is definitely a name that is of interest around the Stadio Olimpico.

The Biancocelesti, however, have not yet submitted a formal offer for the France youth international. It also remains to be seen whether Lyon will entertain an offer in the region of €15m for Cherki, even if he is now into the final year of his contract at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais.

There is plenty of interest in the 20-year-old, particularly from the Bundesliga, as Borussia Dortmund have been linked with a move, as have RB Leipzig, who are on the lookout for a Dani Olmo replacement after his recent transfer to Barcelona.

Alternatively, Wolverhampton Wanderers’s Enso Gonzalez has also been mentioned by TMW as an alternative option for Lazio.
