The Serbian FA announced Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has tested positive for COVID-19.
Ahead of the match against Russia, three players tested positive for coronavirus in the Serbian national team, including Darko Lazovic from Hellas Verona and Milinkovic-Savic of Lazio.
Inter defender Aleksandar Kolarov withdrew from the squad and returned to Italy but has later tested positive for COVID-19.

“The day before the match against Russia, during the regular tests for COVID-19, the positivity of three players were discovered,” the statement from Serbia read.
“It’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Darko Lazovic and Dorde Nikolic. Together with them, a physiotherapist also tested positive for COVID-19.
“The other members of the national team and the professional staff tested negative.”
The three members testing positive have been placed in isolation and immediately left the Stara Pazova Sprots Centre.
