Lazio had a three-hour meeting with agent Fali Ramadani to discuss the potential transfer of Filip Kostic from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Multiple reports including Sportitalia note Ramadani was in Rome this evening and had dinner with Biancocelesti director of sport Igli Tare.

The 28-year-old plays on the left wing, but can also work on the right, making him an ideal reinforcement for coach Maurizio Sarri’s 4-3-3 formation.

His contract runs to June 2023, but the Serbia international is eager for a new experience in Serie A.

Meanwhile, Eintracht Frankfurt are in advanced negotiations with Milan for Jens Petter Hauge, who would effectively replace Kostic in the squad.

The cost of the two operations is relatively similar, with Hauge at circa €8m and Kostic commanding €10-12m.

Sportitalia maintain Ramadani is also discussing other potential transfers with Lazio, in this case where to sell some of their players, because their transfer strategy is also currently affected by the lack of fresh funds.
