Lazio are reportedly tracking Ianis Hagi, son of legendary Romanian player Gheorghe, with a view to bringing the youngster back to Serie A.

Hagi, 21, previously played for Fiorentina between 2016 and 2018, but rarely featured for the Viola.

He was sold in January 2018 to Viitorul Constanta, and moved on again to Belgian side Genk last summer.

Hagi was then sent on loan to Scottish side Glasgow Rangers at the end of the winter transfer window.

The Romanian has made quite an impression in Scotland, and this has alerted Lazio to the midfielder.

Il Corriere dello Sport speculates that the side from the capital could be prepared to offer Genk €6m to bring Hagi back to Italy this summer.
