Lazio are being investigated by UEFA for committing an alleged racist act against Sevilla on Thursday.
Lazio crashed out of the Europa League, losing 2-0 to Sevilla on the night and 3-0 on aggregate.
However, UEFA confirmed on its official website that disciplinary proceedings had been opened against the Aquile for ‘racist behaviour’ during the match.
Adam Marusic will also be probed after he was sent off in Andalusia, although it is not clear whether the two are linked.
