Lazio striker Ciro Immobile has reportedly sustained a low-level lesion to his calf, so will miss Juventus and remains in doubt against Napoli.
The centre-forward pulled out of international duty with Italy for the World Cup qualifiers against Switzerland and Northern Ireland due to a soleus muscle issue.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the swelling and bruising have now subsided enough for tests to show a low-level lesion to the left calf muscle.
That type of injury would rule Immobile out of next weekend’s Serie A clash with Juventus.
However, Lazio do have hope that Immobile might be ready in time for the showdown with his hometown club Napoli on November 28.
The 31-year-old hitman has scored 11 goals and provided two assists in 15 competitive games this season between Serie A and the Europa League.
Immobile has a contract with the Stadio Olimpico side until June 2026, which will mark 10 years of his career in the Lazio jersey.
