Lazio are reportedly interested in Lucas Perez, but doing a deal with Arsenal is difficult.

The Spanish forward joined the Gunners last summer, but appears to be surplus to requirements for this season.

Deportivo La Coruna have been heavily linked with a move for him, but LaLazioSiamoNoi reports that sporting director Igli Tare has also been in contact with his entourage.

However, the Aquile wouldn’t be able to meet his €3.5m per season wages, so would look to take Perez on loan with an option to buy.

Having spent over €20m to buy him, Arsenal would prefer an outright sale or at least an obligation to buy.

With interest from Spain, it’s therefore thought to be unlikely that the Biancocelesti can get a deal done, though not impossible.
