Lazio are reportedly setting up a transfer partnership with Wolverhampton Wanderers, including Diogo Jota and Ruben Neves, thanks to agent Jorge Mendes.
According to RadioSei, this is part of a long-term strategy between Aquile director of sport Igli Tare and agent Mendes.
It began when Lazio purchased young Portuguese players Pedro Neto and Bruno Jordao from Sporting Braga for a combined sum of almost €20m.
They were then sold to Wolves for practically the same figure, despite barely setting foot on the pitch in Italy.

Now that the relationship has been consolidated with those moves, the Biancocelesti can begin reaping the rewards with a preferential lane for Wolverhampton talents.
The prime target is inevitably Diogo Jota, the 23-year-old Portuguese attacker who has contributed 15 goals and six assists in 37 competitive games this season.
His contract is due to expire in June 2022 and he has also been heavily linked with Premier League giants Liverpool and Manchester United.
Ruben Neves is another major candidate for a Lazio move, although the midfielder is valued at €40m and also wanted by Juventus.
He would become affordable with Lazio’s qualification for the Champions League, as they currently sit one point behind Serie A leaders Juve.
Other Wolves players who could interest Lazio are wing-back Jonny Castro and defender Willy Boly.
