Lazio patron Claudio Lotito has offered Maurizio Sarri a contract and the former Napoli and Juventus coach has until Tuesday to decide.

The Biancocelesti President has given Sarri more time to evaluate the offer on the table, as Tuttomercatoweb claims the Aquile have sent their proposal to the 62-year-old.

Sarri, who has been without a job since he lifted the Scudetto with Juventus in 2019-20, seems close to reaching an agreement with Lazio.

The report reveals Lotito delivered the documents for the new contract and Sarri was expected to reply by today.

But Lotito is willing to wait a few more days and has set a new deadline for Tuesday, as Sarri is given 48 hours to dispel any possible reservations.

The former Chelsea coach could still make a remarkable turnaround, and TMW believes Vitor Pereira and Giuseppe Iachini are the other options for Lotito.

Former FC Porto, Olympiacos and Fenerbahce coach Pereira has been without a job since leaving Shanghai Port in December 2020.

Iachini left Fiorentina for the second time after the season and was replaced by Gennaro Gattuso at the Artemio Franchi.
