It has been one long injury crisis for the Aquile this season and kept chief medic Roberto Bianchini busy.

“Djordjevic has started the rehabilitation process and we have to wait a few days before evaluating the response to treatment,” he told Lazio Style Radio.

There were reports the Serbian will be out of action for four to six weeks with a thigh strain.

“De Vrij is on a specific training schedule, but at the start of next week should join the rest of the squad.

“Klose trained today, finished his treatment and has been reunited with the team, so he has no problems currently.

“Basta has dislocated his shoulder and needs to be careful for another few days, but at the end of the week we’ll have more detailed tests to ascertain the extent of the damage. So far everything points to him returning to the field in a few days.

“Mauricio fractured his nose, but trained anyway. Marchetti is fine, he just has a cut to the cheekbone that required five stitches. Obviously he has to avoid any more knocks to the affected area.”
