Around 5000 Lazio fans have taken to the streets to protest against club President Claudio Lotito.

It’s been a summer of turmoil for the Biancocelesti, with Marcelo Bielsa sensationally resigning without ever arriving to take over as Coach.

In addition, Keita Baldé Diao and Felipe Anderson aren’t at pre-season training due to a dispute with the club, and the issue of segregation at Stadio Olimpico is yet to be resolved.

Lotito has always had a tempestuous relationship with elements of the Aquile support, and fans are protesting in Piazza Santi Apostoli, with LaLazioSiamoNoi reporting an attendance of close to 5000.

Sporting director Igli Tare is also coming under fire from the protestors, as is the head of Rome's police force.
