Lazio fans are officially banned from travelling to attend their Champions League match with Feyenoord after previous problems, likely retaliation for a ban on the Dutch supporters.

The Biancocelesti are due to play in the Netherlands on October 25, in a group that also includes Atletico Madrid and Celtic.

They will not have any of their fans travelling to be in the stands, as the Dutch authorities have decided to bar Lazio supporters due to security concerns.

It comes after the Italian authorities already declared that Feyenoord fans would not be allowed to come to Rome for the second leg on November 7.

There have been serious problems in the past, above all in 2015 when Feyenoord fans ran riot in Piazza di Spagna, causing millions of damage to the historic Barcaccia fountain.

Feyenoord already played Roma in the Europa League last season and their fans were banned from attending due to these precedents.
