Although Marcelo Bielsa's rumoured last-minute turn away from the Biancocelesti is currently holding all of the fans' attention, the club is making some moves on the player's market too.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, their target for the attack is West Ham's Valencia.
The two clubs met for the player's transfer, but there is a difference in terms of offer and demand. Valencia is supposed to join the Aquile on a €2m loan with an option to buy at €13m.
West Ham would like that option to be compulsory, whereas the Italians insist it must remain optional.
Talks continue as both clubs are interested in making the deal happen, but at the moment their interests are quite distant.
