Dusan Basta’s Lazio career could be over, as he’s been removed from their Serie A squad and replaced by Jordan Lukaku.
Each top flight side is allowed a squad of 25 players for the season, though under-21 players can be used at any point without being registered.
Basta has made only two appearances this season, both in the Europa League, and he was sent off in the 4-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt.

“S.S. Lazio announces that the player Jordan Lukaku has been included in the list of 25 players submitted to the Lega Serie A in place of Dusan Basta,” a statement confirmed.
Lukaku has been out with injury, and his replacing the Serbian could mean that Basta will leave in January.
